This is the Day!
Hey everybody!
We sure have missed you and we hope you have us too! We hope everyone is doing wonderful and is in good health. We have been travelling every weekend and getting to do what we love to do, singing for the Lord! The Lord continues to bless The Masters Quartet. With that being said, I just want to add that no matter what we are going through in life God is always there by our side. Whether you are hit with sickness, heartaches, or tears we want to remind you that God is still in control, and with God in control everyone must take this to heart and remember, as we are reminded every weekend from a precious young man, that "this is the day that the Lord hath made." We are to rejoice and be glad in it! Let's Review/MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Well it has been a while but we are back to blogging! I hope you guys have missed us as much as we have you! The Masters Quartet has been extremely busy the last few months! In those months we have been traveling non-stop singing for the Lord. Along the way we have sang with so many great groups that it's too difficult to even try to name them all! We had an outstanding turnout for our 22nd Annual Homecoming this year with our biggest crowd ever!!! We want to say a very special THANK YOU to each and every person that came out to the concert and all those that helped us sale ads and helped us at the door, and a thank you to all of those at the Prentiss County Ag Center that work hard preparing the ag center for the homecoming. Also, we want to say a great thank you to The Inspirations and The McKameys for taking part in our homecoming for yet another year! Without all of you the homecoming could not be a success, and we thank you for all of your support that you give The Masters year in and out. Lastly, I want to remind each and every one what is coming up...CHRISTMAS!!! This is the time of year that people are so happy to get presents and go see Santa Claus and so on. I see nothing wrong with this at all, but I just want to help each one remember that December 25th is not just for gifts, but it is a time to remember that Jesus is the true reason for the season! All of us from The Masters want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope and pray that you have a safe holiday season. We love all of you and hope to see you at a concert down the road.
How Long Has It Been?
I was attending a church service one Sunday evening and the pastor that was bringing the message mentioned something that caught my attention. He was talking about his family and how he had three children that he loved dearly. Well one particular evening one of his daughters walked into his study area and said, "Daddy, I love you" for no apparent reason. Well he immediately began thinking, "I wonder what she is wanting from me. Does she want a new doll, dress, or what?" So the pastor asked his daughter what she was needing, and it was at that moment when she just turned to him and said, "Daddy, I just wanted to come in here and tell you how much I love you." I cannot help but compare this to us Christians and our Heavenly Father. We are constantly going to God in prayer and asking him to help us through trials, tribulations, and such. How long has it been since we have just went to our Father just to tell him we love him? Our God died on the cross to save us all, and the least we can do is show him our appreciation and tell him how much we love him.
Another Day Gone...
Hello to all! The weekend is approaching fast! We have a busy weekend ahead of us with three concerts, but I cannot wait to praise and uplift the Lord in song! I have had something on my mind tonight, and I felt like sharing. Lately, it seems that each day just passes by so quickly! We are all so busy working, going place to place, and so on that we sometimes forget to really take advantage of the days we have. Every morning that we wake up is a blessing from God that is granted to us so that we can go out and spread His word to others who may not know Him. Are you capitalizing on this opportunity? If not, then do not waste anymore time because our days on Earth are numbered as it is. In about half an hour it will be another day gone and another one will be on the horizon. What will you do tomorrow for God? Will you go about your normal routine and just work and go home, or will you be that shining light for God and spread His gospel through words, actions, and etc.? Hopefully you will choose the latter because if you do not, then it will be just another day gone...
God Bless Casey J This Blog Is For YOU!
We have created this blog for YOU guys, the fans! We want you to become a close part of our ministry because without our fans giving us such great support and praying for us along the way it would be tough to keep doing what we do. So, just keep an eye out for new blogs, and please take part in them because we love to hear what the fans think and have to say. Thank all of you for your love and support.
